YWLCS
is open, by lottery, to any girl in the city of Chicago. Now in our
ninth academic year, we are currently serving 360 students in grades
7-12. Students come from 30 different communities in Chicago and are
racially and economically diverse.

YWLCS has very ambitious goals.To achieve them, we must raise private funds to supplement the per-pupil funding we receive from public sources.The financial support of foundations, businesses and individual donors is crucial.
