Academics
At YWLCS, every student is expected to learn and to achieve academically in our college preparatory program. Our high standards of excellence, unique and innovative curriculum, diverse and dedicated faculty, and nontraditional assessment system create a successful bridge from adolescence to college for each of the young women who join our community.
The school is divided into three Academies:
- Middle School Academy for 7th and 8th graders;
- Junior Academy for 9th and 10th graders;
- and Senior Academy for 11th and 12th graders.
Further, each student is paired with an Advisor from her Academy who oversees her academic progress and makes sure she meets specific academic goals.
Our goal at YWLCS is straightforward: to take ordinary girls and produce extra-ordinary results. Our goal is to graduate 100% of our students from high school and send 100% of them to college.
