Get Involved at YWLCS
Volunteers are a vital component of our success at YWLCS, sharing everything from experience and knowledge to time on the school's Board of Directors and various school committees.
We welcome YOU as a community supporter and/or family volunteer to give your time, energy, and talents! Here are some ways you can enhance student learning:
- Join the new Associate Board
- Judge at the fall Science Fair
- Share your profession at Career Day
- Become a Saturday Writing Workshop tutor
- Practice interviewing 10th grade internship students and 11th grade College Prep students
- Evaluate 8th, 10th, and 12th grade promotion presentations
- Assist or create a Chicago Youth Center after school club
