Community Service

In service club, girls will have a chance to learn about an issue that is affecting their community (or the Chicago area), such as homelessness, hunger, or domestic violence. They will then serve with an organization that is addressing this need firsthand. The community service club is open to ALL YWLCS students in 7-12 grade. Weekly meetings occur on Tuesday afternoons after school in room 303.

Service Activities could include:

Feeding the hungry
Beautification of community parks
Tutoring
Volunteering at shelters

All students interested in making a difference in their community, enhancing their resume, or meeting new people should contact Ms. Vadnais in room 303.
