Students pass through three stages during their six years at the Young Women's Leadership Charter School of Chicago.
Moving Up
7th and 8th grade students make up the Middle School Academy and Move Up to Junior Academy upon completion of 8th grade.
Stepping Forward
Once promoted from the 10th grade, YWLCS students Step Forward to Senior Academy.
Moving Out
Graduation means Moving Out. On May 28, 2010, we graduated 100% of our senior class. During our 11th anniversary year, we aim to graduate 100% of our eighth class of seniors on Friday, June 1, 2011 and watch as 100% of them Move Out to college.
